At Swallow Creek Ranch we provide the blank canvas for a wedding weekend of your dreams and allow you to shape your celebration as you see fit. Wedding couples will have two incredible vintage spaces to enjoy while getting ready, the historic creamery turned wedding suite and courtyard plus a 1969 Airstream trailer lovingly restored and placed with sweeping ocean views as a cool place to kick back before the big event. We are the only venue on the Central Coast with two gorgeous ocean view ceremony sites; the hill top amphitheater or the sea view meadow plus a historic reception barn and enchanting barnyard for cocktail hour. Each location offers its own unique atmosphere. Elegant or organic, rustic or modern… the scene is set, the ranch is your backdrop. Make your vision come true!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • IS THERE ON-SITE PARKING AVAILABLE?

    Yes, lots! We can park up to 90 vehicles in our upper parking area BUT we require professional shuttles for onsite transportation. We reserve our lower parking area near the barnyard for vendors, VIP guests and the wedding party. This area can accommodate up to 25 vehicles.

  • DO YOU REQUIRE A WEDDING COORDINATOR?

    Yes, wedding coordinators are worth their weight in gold! Wedding couples are required to hire a professional coordinator from our “Pre-approved Vendor List”.

  • HOW LATE CAN WE PARTY?

    In accordance with local noise ordinances, amplified music must stop at 10:00 pm when vendor breakdown & guest departure begins. The venue closes at 11 pm.

  • DO YOU HAVE A DECOR INVENTORY WE CAN BORROW FROM?

    We have a fun and eclectic inventory of props that can be incorporated into your wedding design, some of it left over from the ranch’s dairy farming days.

  • ARE THERE CHANGING AREAS FOR THE WEDDING PARTY?

    Yes, we have two vintage spaces for our wedding couple to enjoy while getting ready for their special day. The original creamery has been renovated into a charming wedding suite complete with a full bathroom and shower. It serves as a great place to get ready, drink a glass or two of champagne or as a quiet place for a first look. We also have a renovated 31 ft. 1969 Airstream trailer parked at the top of the ranch with sweeping ocean views. The trailer includes a minifridge, blue tooth speaker, indoor seating for 6 and an outdoor patio w/ corn hole and additional seating.

  • WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY FOR WEDDINGS?

    250 people.

  • HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU HAVE A WEEKEND?

    Just one, yours. You have use of the property the entire weekend from Friday afternoon for rehearsal until Sunday at noon for clean up. We find that everyone has a much more enjoyable experience if we can all slow down during the process of creating your magical day.

  • CAN WE PROVIDE ALCOHOL?

    Yes! You may serve your guests wine and beer or hard alcohol. We do require that you hire a professional certified bartender, provide a certificate of liability insurance and proof of their liquor license.

  • CAN WE HAVE OUR REHEARSAL DINNER HERE?

    Yes, you can host a rehearsal dinner onsite Friday night from 5 pm - 9 pm for up to 50 guests for an additional $300.

  • DO YOU HAVE A PREFERRED VENDOR LIST?

    Yes, having hosted weddings here for years we have a list of vendors we love! We encourage couples to choose from this list but do not require it.
